My two loves are art and travel.

Artist Residency

Orquevaux, France | October, 2019

I was accepted into the artist in residence program at Chateau d’Orquevaux in North-Eastern France for two weeks. I found myself immersed in an environment where I could nourish my creative spirit, along with 18 other artists from around the world. Days were spent exploring the tiny village, the surrounding countryside, and the grounds of the chateau, gathering inspiration for the paintings I would create in my private studio. I will be forever grateful for this experience!

Monet's Gardens

May 2016

My dream came true in May 2016 when I joined "My Art Trip" in Paris and Giverny, France. Ever since I saw my first Monet exhibit in SDMA, I dreamed of visiting his gardens. I loved plein-air painting in the early mornings and evenings to the sounds of the frogs in the pond and birds in the trees.

Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic

July 2015

I was selected as one of six COAL artists to travel to our sister city, Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, to represent Carlsbad, CA. Five of my paintings were shown in the exhibit. The mayor presented us with gifts at the reception at the Municipal Gallery at the Hot Spring Colonnade.
